During an active call, the user has an ability to transfer the aforementioned call to another extension using their line keys instead of manually putting in the numbers.
Polycom
- Press the softkey labeled Transfer
- Press the softkey labeled Lines
- Press the line key for the desired destination of the call.
Yealink
- Press the softkey labeled Transfer for an attended transfer or ••• > BXfer for blind transfer.
- Press the desired line key for the destination of the call.
Note: If the primary line keys are in use, the bottom right one will read More. After pressing More, additional line keys will be shown.
Cisco
- Press the softkey labeled Transfer for an attended transfer or BlindXfer for blind transfer.
Note: If transferring to a user’s voicemail, use BlindXfer
- Press the line key for the desired destination.
Note: If the Transfer softkey was used, the Transfer option will have to be pressed a second time to complete the transfer.
Fanvil
Warm Transfer
- While on an active call, press the Xfer button.
- The phone will show Attended Transfer on the screen.
- Dial the extension or number of the person you want to transfer the call to.
- Wait for the recipient to answer the call.
- Press the Xfer button again to complete the transfer.
- The original call will now be connected to the recipient.
Blind Transfer
- While on an active call, press the Xfer button once.
- You will see Attended Transfer on the screen.
- Press the Xfer button again (BXfer) to toggle to Blind Transfer.
- Once you see Blind Transfer, dial the extension or number you want to transfer the call to.
- The call will be immediately transferred without waiting for the recipient to answer.
