The following is the minimum network requirements for UNIVERGE BLUE® VoIP Service:

1) An Internet Service Provider (ISP) that delivers your Internet service over a wired connection - such as:
 
Supported Not Supported
  • Recommended

    • Cable
    • Fiber
  • Not Recommended

    • DSL
    • Leased Lines (T1 /T3 / etc.)
 
1. The following non-wired ISP options are subject to environmental conditions and cannot be guaranteed to provide Worry-Free Voice Services:
  • Satellite (WildBlue, HughesNet, Starlink)
  • Wireless / Wi-Fi
  • Cellular 4G / 5G
2. Dial-up connections
 
 

2) A Recommended or Serviceable router.

3) An active DHCP server is required for the phones (all routers that we support are DHCP-compatible).
