The hold feature allows you to answer or make another call while the original call is on standby. 

To place a call on hold press the Options soft key during a call, and then select Hold. The call will be placed on hold and the pause icon will be displayed on the screen of the phone.

There are three ways to resume the call:

• Press Resume soft key
• Press Speakerphone key
• Press Off-hook key

If two calls are placed on hold at the same time, you can press the Resume soft key to resume the current call. It is also possible to press Up/Down key, or Swap soft key, to switch between two calls.

Note: when the active call is placed on hold, putting the handset in the charger cradle will not end the call.
