Call Waiting feature allows you to receive a new incoming call while you are already on an active call. If enabled, the phone will notify you of the new call, usually with a beep or visual indicator on the screen, and give you the option to answer it, put the current caller on hold, or send the new call to voicemail. If disabled, the new call will be rejected or sent to voicemail.
Call Waiting is enabled by default on all phones provided by UNIVERGE BLUE®. This article holds instructions for toggling Call Waiting on the phones that UNIVERGE BLUE® provides.
Yealink Desk Phones
- Press Menu
- Go to Features > Call Waiting
- Toggle Call Waiting (and optionally the tone) ON or OFF
- Press Save.
Yealink Cordless Handsets
- Press the OK key to enter the main menu
- Select Call Features > Call Waiting
- Press the
Up or
Down key to select the desired value from the Status field
- Press the
Left or
Right key to select the desired value from the Tone field
- Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.
Poly/Polycom Desk Phones
- Press
Home button
- Go to
Settings > Basic > Preferences
- Scroll down to Call Waiting
- Toggle Enabled/Disabled.
Fanvil Desk Phones
- Press Menu
- Go to Features > Call Waiting.
- Use navigation keys to toggle Status (Enable/Disable) and Tone.
- Press Save.
