IVRs: Introduction > Managing IVR Phone Numbers
This article explains how to manage phone numbers used for IVRs and it's part of a set of articles that explain how to use IVRs with UNIVERGE BLUE® ENGAGE.

 

Manage all IVR phone numbers through the Interactive Voice Response page in UNIVERGE BLUE® ENGAGE Admin Portal. This includes searching for specific IVR phone numbers; editing the IVR a phone number is assigned to or the IVR phone number's label; and exporting the IVR phone numbers to a .CSV file you can then open in Microsoft Excel or another application that supports .CSV files.

TIP We refer to IVR phone numbers as DNIS (Dialed Number Identification Service).

To access the page where you can manage DNIS

  1. Access the Interactive Voice Response page as explained in IVRs: Introduction. Click Phone Numbers.

  2. A page appears with a list of all DNIS set up in UNIVERGE BLUE® ENGAGE.

    Use this page to search for a specific DNIS, edit the DNIS, or export DNIS to a .CSV file.
    1. Search box: Click to search for DNIS.
    2. DNIS table: Displays the phone number attached to an IVR, the name of the IVR it's attched to, and the label given to the phone number in order to identify it.
    3. Edit link: Click to edit a DNIS.
    4. Export button: Click to export the DNIS table.
