You can choose between two mutually exclusive modes in UNIVERGE BLUE® SHARE Windows and Mac clients:
Windows:

Mac:

- File Syncing Mode - All content in your UNIVERGE BLUE® SHARE cloud WILL sync to your computer by default, except for folders excluded from syncing in app settings. Each file will be downloaded to your computer and accessible even when you are offline. Each file excluded from syncing will neither be downloaded nor accessible from your computer. You will need to use UNIVERGE BLUE® SHARE Web or Mobile app to access such content. Select this option if your hard drive CAN facilitate sync of all the files that you need access to or if you need to view or edit UNIVERGE BLUE® SHARE files on your computer even while offline.
- File Streaming Mode - All content in your UNIVERGE BLUE® SHARE cloud WILL NOT sync to your computer by default. Instead, all files and folders will be present to you in Windows Explorer/Finder even though they are not downloaded to your computer. File content will only be downloaded on demand when you click to open a file or if it is forced to sync to keep it accessible offline. This allows you to see and access many files without having to download all of them to your computer. Select this option if your hard drive CANNOT facilitate sync of all the files that you need access to or if you don't need to access your files while you are offline. Streaming implies that you can only access your files while connected to the Internet. Only My Blue Share folder works in file streaming mode, other user profile folders will still work in file syncing mode and will sync to your computer by default.
