This article describes how the user's profile picture can be changed in UNIVERGE BLUE™ CONNECT mobile application.

Image requirements

  • Pictures can be in JPG/JPEG/PNG format
  • Picture size should be less than 10 MB
  • Any side should be bigger than 96 px. You would be able to crop the image during the upload

Procedure for Android phones

Open the client and tap on the gear icon at the top of the screen:

Tap on i icon at the top right corner of the screen:

Tap on your current profile picture. 

The system will prompt you with the image source selection. You may select one of the two options 

  • upload photo from the device's library
  • take a new photo

Upload

Once a new photo is selected/taken the app will allow you to crop and scale it. After the edits applied to the photo are confirmed, the new photo is uploaded to the server.

Note:  During the upload process, the application will show a spinning circle animation to you. If you exit the settings, the upload will continue in the background. It may take up to 15 minutes for the profile picture changes to propagate after the upload.

Procedure for iPhones

Open the client and go to the application settings.

On the My account screen tap on a tile with your name and profile picture on it.

Tap on your current proile picture. 

The system will prompt you with the image source selection. You may select one of the two options 

  • upload photo from the device's library
  • take a new photo

UpploadiOS

Once a new photo is selected/taken the app will allow you to crop and scale it. After the edits applied to the photo are confirmed, the new photo is uploaded to the server.
