In most support cases, it is important to know how to locate your VoIP device's make and model number in case the question you are facing is directly related to the device.
While some devices make it easier to locate the model number, not all devices are created equal and a time will come that you will need this information.
Below you will find some quick tips in order to quickly find your VoIP device's make and model number for:
Polycom
Polycom phones do not display the model number on the face of the device, however, all models have a manufacturer information label on the back, either as a sticker or printed right on the device.
SoundPoint IP 331/335/450/550/560/650/670
You can find the make and model on the back informational sticker; near the bottom of the phone.
VVX 201/300/400/500/501/600/601
The older generation Polycom VVX phones have a sticker on the back of the device that contains the make and model information.
VVX 150/250/350/450
The newer VVX devices have the make and model information printed on a panel, on the back of the device.
- On the Polycom Phone:
- Press the "Menu" or "Home" button on the phone to access the main menu.
- Navigate to Settings or Status:
- Use the navigation buttons (arrow keys) to scroll and find the "Settings" or "Status" option. The exact wording may vary based on the model and firmware version of the Polycom phone. Press the "OK" button to enter the selected menu.
- Find MAC Address:
- In the Settings or Status menu, look for an entry labeled "Phone Information," "Network," or "Ethernet Information." Within this submenu, you should find the "MAC Address"
Yealink
Yealink T4-series: T42\43\46\48G, T42\43\46\48S & T42\43\46\48P
All of the Yealink T4 Series phones have the make and model printed on the face of the device.
T33G

- On the Yealink Phone:
- Press the "Menu" button on the phone to access the main menu.
- Navigate to Status:
- Use the navigation buttons (arrow keys) to scroll and select the "Status" option. Press the "OK" button to enter the Status menu.
- Find MAC Address:
- In the Status menu, you should see various information about the phone's network settings. Look for an entry labeled "MAC Address"
Yealink T5-series

Fanvil
V64

The MAC address of a Fanvil V64 IP phone can be found in two places:
- On the back of the phone: The MAC address is printed on a sticker on the back of the phone, below the barcode.
- In the phone's menu: You can also find the MAC address in the phone's menu. To do this, press the Menu button, then select Status > Information. The MAC address will be listed under MAC.
X303W

The MAC address of a Fanvil X303W IP phone can also be found in two places:
- On the back of the phone: The MAC address is printed on a sticker on the back of the phone, below the barcode.
- In the phone's menu: You can also find the MAC address in the phone's menu. To do this, press the Menu button, then select Status > Information. The MAC address will be listed under MAC.
