Screen Sharing
Screen Sharing features are open to all participants in a meeting and not limited to the Meeting Host only.
To begin screen sharing:
- Click the Monitor icon at the bottom of the screen:
- In UNIVERGE BLUE® CONNECT, you may choose to share your Entire Screen, or another application shown to you to share that single application:
To stop screen sharing you may choose the floating widget shown at the bottom of the screen:
Or navigate back to the meeting screen and see the top of your screen there:
Note: for best results, use a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. A higher resolution (2560 X 1440) will cause your audience to see a blurry screen
Multi-screenshare
In the UNIVERGE BLUE® CONNECT Desktop App and Chrome or Edge browser, meeting attendees can share more than 1 screen at a time (one screen per participant).

Known issues:
- secondary screens will not be spotlighted in recording
- secondary screens will not support annotation
MP4 Playback
If you click the 3 dots next to the monitor icon, you are offered the option to share an MP4 video:
Choose Share Video then browse to the file on your computer and select it to play.
Audience will see (and hear):
Audience Controls:
- Your audience may view Full Screen by using the controls on their web browser or app to go Full Screen. Minimizing the Attendee list on the left gives them additional real-estate as well.
- Your audience may alternately select a section of the screen when someone is screen sharing, using their mouse by dragging to select an area and this will result in a magnification of that area:
Compact Mode
Make your screen sharing experience more convenient with Compact Mode functionality. It gives you access to the core controls (mic mute/unmute, webcam on/off) and see the active speaker in a small floating controls widget.
Enable automatically switch to Compact Mode when starting screen share in General Meeting Settings:
Or click the Compact Mode button on the top while screen sharing:
To get out of the Compact Mode, click maximize button or main space:
